Why Am I Required To Take Math?

Yeah, seriously.

When I look at my life, and the failure of it. I see two culprits.

  1. Is my unwillingness to obey authority. Especially those whom I do not see as worthy of being in positions of authority. And because quite frankly, I don’t like licking the boots of oppressors.
  2. Math

You might think I’m joking but I’m not. I have never been good at math and I don’t like to be told that I have to do something, when I don’t see a valid reason.

I’m a writer not a math man. Put me in English classes and History classes and I’m golden. I’m good with biology and non-math sciences. I have (or had) a great memory.

But, math was a class I failed at and barely squeaked by.

When I entered college I had to take dummy math, to get up to speed so I could take the real math they required me to take.

I was in special ed, because of my refusal to do math, and my behavior. This was directly related to not accepting fake authority. I obeyed the rules if they were valid and made sense, but just leave me alone.

I was a delightful child, I’m sure. I have stacks of disciplinary reports to prove it.

I spent many days in detention or suspended for not showing up to detention, or smoking or fighting or refusing to obey, or tardies or unexcused absences. (As if I need an excuse, am I your slave?)

I could go on and on about my rebellion.

But, I want to get to the point.

As I’ve grown I have reflected upon my life and why I am a failure. And it’s refusal to obey and being required to take math, which rises to the surface.

So, I considered my problems with math and found that I’m not alone.

Many people have trouble with math and have never needed algebra at any time in their life. Yet, passing algebra was something we were all required to do. (Of course some jerk will give me an example of algebra I use everyday, to which I say, “Go sit down Poindexter.”)

I refused to accept that.

It would have been more valuable to have taught me and others finances. Such as, how to start a business, or how to invest. It would be better to help us get started in life financially. Opening accounts, setting up investments for college and retirement, and other things we actually need.

But, no… we must obey our masters and learn algebra.

So, I racked my brain to figure out why.

Teachers and administrators and leaders have to know that higher math is not used by most people. They have to know that we can use calculators. Even though, back in the dark days of the 80’s they said “You won’t always have a calculator with you”. To which today I say yes, I do. It’s in my phone.

They are not dumb.

It has to be more than just getting us to submit to authority and jump through hoops like trained poodles.

So, I decided to follow the money. Which, since this world is controlled by money seems to be the only answer.

I am required to take math I don’t need, because the school needs to employ a math teacher, and justify the salary. That’s why.

Ok, hear me out.

Not all students are the same. We have different things we excel at and different things we are interested in. I personally believe we are created for a purpose, and our schools should be helping us find it, not forcing us to conform to a sick society.

Some of us love math. Some love building things. Some love music and art. Some love science. And some love history and writing. (We should be raised up to be who we are supposed to be)

But…

Since some children are good at math and are destined to be engineers, and architects, and scientists, and other careers that use large amounts of math.

And since society needs engineers, architects, scientists, and other math people.

We therefore, need math teachers. It’s for society and money, not you.

See?

So, a school must pay for math teachers. And since a school is also a business they want to get the most bang for their buck. So they force everyone to take math in order to justify a math teacher’s salary.

If math teachers only taught students who were good at math and headed for math careers, their classrooms would be nearly empty.

Our money loving system can not tolerate an employee earning top dollar for only teaching small numbers. So we must cram idiots like me into classes to justify the salary.

See? It’s about justifying a salary, not teaching kids.

I might not be good at math, but I can put 2 and 2 together.

It really ticks me off, that my failure in life came because of school systems who refused to actually help kids succeed in the things the child was created to do.

They valued the mentality of obedience to authority, over freedom and success.

Our society can be divided into those who succeed in school and obey authority, and those who do not. We can see the sorts of jobs people are forced to get because they did not succeed in school. Because their parents didn’t succeed in school.

(To be clear, Success is also determined by connections a person or family has. A moron with a rich daddy who knows people can get good jobs, whether he was a failed student or not.)

Schools become the gateway to whether a person lives a miserable life as a low wage worker, or lives a happy life doing what they love and earning a living at it.

Can schools be blamed for poverty?

Instead of helping people succeed, they create obedient workers who are divided into high paying jobs for those who obey and succeed, and low paying jobs for the failures?

And since all the high paying important jobs are filled with obedient slaves, the mentality of obedience continues to be pushed.

And now you know why you are required to take math.

lol.

Trusting God

He is faithful God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.—1 Cor. 1:9 How is trust built? With anyone, whether it’s parents or friends or enemies or government or neighbors, trust is built or destroyed by relationship, and experience. It is the same with God.…

The Great Falling Away

It will happen in these last days “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (The Day of The Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”— 2 Thess. 2:3   (2 Thess 2:1-15) It seems that this event…

Give And It Shall Be Given Unto You

Have You Tested God? “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”—Luke 6: 38 First, I wanna say that this verse and all…

Make Food Stamps For Organic Only

No candy for you!

Ok, hear me out.

I’m not a candy Nazi. I like my treats as much as the next guy. But, I’m trying to solve a bigger problem.

First, a little background.

There has been much talk lately about trying to limit SNAP or food stamp benefits to regular food instead of soda, candy, chips and other junk foods. The state of Texas has even brought up a bill to do just that.

At the same time, we have Robert F. Kennedy Jr. seeking to make America healthy again. The two things are obviously connected, whether intentionally or not.

As a country we should take this and run with it. It could save countless lives, and cut healthcare costs.

But, we need to think bigger and be honest.

Do you really believe that the chemicals in “Junk” food is worse than the chemicals corporations and farms put in ALL of our food? Is a bag of chips worse than a frozen dinner, if they have the same or similar chemicals? Is a candy bar worse than an apple grown in chemical fertilizers and pesticides?

Do you realize that the obesity epidemic is caused more by the chemicals in our food which slow the metabolism, than just a bag of chips alone.

You realize that if you cut up a potato and make chips in olive oil at home, it’s healthier than a bag of chips from the store, right? Because of the chemicals and oils. It’s not because of potato chips themselves.

Today, you can go buy an organic chocolate candy bar, that is just good ingredients. Chocolate is not bad for you. (Unless that’s all you eat.) It’s the chemicals in the candy bar.

Our entire food supply is filled with chemicals. So, acting like junk food itself is bad is ridiculous.

So, why not make SNAP or food stamp benefits, organic only?

The minute this is done corporations and farms will rush to make as much organic food as possible. They will start building organic farms and sources. They will seek out organic ingredients.

That will bring down the cost of organic food, and it will bring down the cost of healthcare.

I will bet that the SNAP program has helped prop up farms and food companies to such an extent that the loss of business will be catastrophic.

Unless they are able to change. And turning organic would be a good change.

Now’s the time to strike while the anvil is hot.

Making SNAP benefits organic only would go a long way toward Making America Healthy Again.

Why Do We Study Prophecy?

So, we know the seasons. The Bible is 30% prophecy, as some have stated. But, when you consider that the whole thing is about Jesus Christ, and that all the stories and pictures speak of Him, His First Coming and Second Coming, I think its more like 100%. God has called all believers to be…

The Beasts Of The Field

Why does God let us struggle? When we get saved, we might notice that there are things that change in us immediately. But, there are other things that do not. It’s like God saves us and removes some things but leaves other things in our lives for us to struggle with. I mean if God…

What Is Wrong With Us?

We are corrupt at the very core. What I am going to present to you today is something different. A different way to look at the world, and humanity. Something different than the legalism around us. As Christians we are taught and have come to understand a view of God, Scripture and the World based…

Our Suffering In Christ

We are tempted to reject Him. When we get saved, we confess Jesus as our Lord, and believe in Him alone for salvation. We are called to Walk in the Spirit, and to abide in Him. We get great joy in the Lord. Prayers answered. Life changing experiences, and we see Him working to protect…

The Art Of Asking For Help

There’s a method.

Are you really seeking help? Or is it a con?

This is what a person must overcome nowadays. Everyone is asking for something and when you try to engage or be nice you find yourself in a trap you cannot get out of without being a jerk.

Let’s say you have a friend who says “Hey, are you busy today?”

Well, number one, I’m always busy. I do not just sit in darkness waiting for your call.

And this sort of question is a trap.

Are you wanting me to go to the beach to hangout and eat yummy snacks?

Or are you wanting me to show up and carry 6 tons of furniture up and down stairs so you can move for the 5th time this year?

Since I never get the beach invite, I will assume the latter.

See?

So, when I say.

“No. I’m not busy.” I have just opened a whole can of possible trouble.

So, when you reach out, you need to give info. Not ask open questions.

“Hey! I’m going to the beach. Wanna go!”

See?

Or “Hey, I really need help moving furniture. We are doing it on Saturday, around 10am I’m buying lunch. Can you help?”

See how beautiful that is?

When you ask a question like.

“Are you available Saturday?”

And I say “No, I’m busy”

Don’t come back and say “What are you up to?”

Trying to catch me in a lie, or being nosy, or trying to invite yourself.

I will just eventually destroy this friendship and I won’t have to bother with you anymore.

And you might think I’m harsh. But, the sort of people who use these open questions are typically users. They have done this so often they know how to play the game to get kind people into traps to use them.

And in case you are wondering. No…I don’t have many friends.

Real friends are rare and different from fake friends.

Now understand.

I’m all about helping people.

But, don’t try to play games with me. I’ll do what I can.

Let’s look at someone asking for money.

“Hey! You got any money?”

This is a trap. They are trying to get you to lie or give more, or fight about it.

So you say “No man, I’m broke.”

Then, an hour later they see you posted pics of being down town feeding the ducks and eating ice cream.

Now they are mad, and call you a liar.

But, actually you just care more about ducks and ice cream than you do about your free loading friends, and don’t really want to fight about it. So, you lie.

It happens.

I’m not a liar. I’m avoiding conflict in order to spare your feelings.

See?

I’m kind.

Now, if my friend had just asked

“Hey man, you got ten bucks, I need it to put gas in the car for work?”

Yes! Yes! Actually let’s fill up your tank.

See?

There is an art to begging. You have to take the anxiety and conflict out of it.

People are more than happy to help others.

I personally want to help people and I’m ready for it.

When I travel, I put cash in my pocket, prepared for pan handlers.

When they ask for help, I can just give them a 5 or 10 in the blink of an eye without having to whip out the wallet. I have the money ready, and it’s safer.

My wife says that God brings them to me.

I think I just look like a sucker.

Maybe it’s both.

When we travel, pan handlers magically appear and seek me out. I want to help them.

And that’s ok.

When you want to give and help, people can’t really take advantage of you that easily. Because it doesn’t matter. They think they got away with something. But, I’m overjoyed to help. Win/Win.

I say all of this, to stress that when you need help, ask people. There are folks dying to help. But, when you ask, you must make it easier for them to know how to help, and what you really need. Not like a strong arm robber.

Life is hard enough without making it hard on others.

The Darkest Time Of Year

It’s hard sometimes This time of year, around Christmas is a very hard time of year for many people. It is not a joyful festive time, no matter how much we try to dress it up with religious zeal, and bright lights. This is the time of year we often miss those who have gone…

The Coming Persecution

A Look at Matthew 24 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive…

How Are We Tempted?

It’s important to understand. In order to resist temptation, we must understand what is going on. If we miss an aspect of it, we cannot really resist it. We just shift it around or suffer through. “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with…

All Things Work Together

He is with us in all of it.

I got “saved” when I was young.

I had no idea what that actually meant. But, God did. And that’s all that matters. I turned to Him and He came running.

No one who gets saved, knows the Bible. They do not know anything. We cannot say “I won’t sin anymore”, because we do not even know what that is.

We just hear His call and turn to Him.

That’s it, and that’s all that’s needed. If we really heard and turned.

It’s all on Him. He takes care of it.

According to some people, when you get saved you instantly become this person who never sins. That was not my experience.

I turned into a violent drunk who destroyed everyone and everything.

But, God was with me. I know He was.

And as I sowed evil into my life and into the world, all of it worked together to break me.

Because God and His promises are not based upon my ability but on His.

I’m a failure. He is not.

When we read in Deuteronomy Chapter 28, we see the blessings that come when we obey God, and the curses that come when we don’t.

This is not about eternal salvation. That’s settled when you turn to Christ.

This is about reaping what we sow in this world. It’s is about being blessed or corrected. It is about being broken.

God designed His creation to respond to reaping and sowing and harvest. Whether physically or spiritually. (Galatians 6:7-9)

He created it this way when we were still in the Garden, before the Fall. So, we were not doing evil. We were not corrupted. We sowed and reaped goodness. But, when we fell, evil came and now we sow and reap evil.

So as I lived my evil life. The harvest of my evil actions was growing, and God was merciful. He gave me grace and protected me. But, eventually that harvest came upon me.

I was cursed and destroyed in every way. I lost everything.

Just like it says in Deuteronomy Chapter 28. That is “Rock Bottom”. That is reaping what we sow.

Now, I had a choice. I could have gotten mad at God and rejected Him. I could have become bitter. And I would continued to face “Rock Bottom” and correction, in various ways.

Or I could let it break me, and turn to Him, and learn from Him and grow in Him.

I chose Him, because He chose me. (1 John 4:19)

People forget brokenness as a spiritual discipline. The act of utter destruction in order to be rebuilt by God.

So many churches are built on a false belief of perfect obedience, because they have never been broken. They have never experienced God destroying their life, in order to rebuild it. They grew up in church and never left. They have never been corrected, because they have never really known Him. They just obey the rules.

But, ALL things work together for our good, when He calls us, and we love Him. (Romans 8:28)

I can look back at my life and see His movements and know that He was with me in my destruction. His hand was on the temperature gauge of my burning. And it’s ok. I trust Him. I trust Him because He has brought me through.

This is my testimony. It is between Him and me. By our testimony we shall over come the enemy. Because we can see and say the great things God has done for us. (Rev. 12:11, Luke 8:39)

I no longer care about peoples religion or their dead beliefs. I know the Lord. I have a relationship with Him.

It came because of my failure and my brokenness. All things work together. His grace is sufficient for me.

When we sin we turn to Him, and confess to Him and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we pretend like we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and Jesus is not in us. When we say we don’t sin, we make God out to be a liar. Because He came to die for our sins, not our failures. Not our mistakes. Not our misunderstandings. But, for our sin. (1 John 1)

All things in this life work together for our goodness when we are with Him. Good or bad. If we do good we get blessed. We reap goodness because we sow goodness.

And when we sow evil we reap correction into our lives. We reap destruction and brokenness into our lives. And it works to grow us. It changes us, if we turn to Him. The trouble and brokenness works as fertilizer for growth.

And as we confess our sin and turn to Him, and grow. As we are broken and corrected through our life. As we face tribulation, and sin and failure, and turn to Him over and over and over again.

We change. We grow. We bear fruit.

I have changed.

My mind has been renewed to what God created it to be before it was ruined by my corrupted nature and my own sinful deeds. (Romans 12:2)

Not by my works or efforts but by Him, breaking me and saving me.

That is how the Holy Spirit develops the Fruit in us. Patience comes by a life time of trusting and waiting upon the Lord, as He molds you and shapes you. Love comes by facing the unlovable. Peace comes by facing chaos. Joy comes by misery. Self-control comes through correction and brokenness. That is meekness. All of it comes by constantly turning to Him, confessing, praying, and letting Him work.

That is the relationship.

I no longer struggle to obey God.

I just obey, or get corrected and both are fine. Because I trust Him.

He fixes it. He changes me.

I find myself, sinning less.

I’m not perfect in myself. In my flesh.

But, I am perfect in Him. He no longer sees my sin. According to Him, I am in Christ and do not sin at all. (1 John)

I am washed in the Blood. I am clean. I am white as snow. My sins are as far from me as the East is from the West. They are in the deepest sea, and I am hid in the cleft of the Rock of Christ. I am on the Ark. I might be a termite on the Ark. But, I’m there because of what Jesus did, not what I do.

When you hear Him call and turn to Him. His Holy Spirit comes into you and teaches you to love Him and know Him. And you realize that God is with you and will never leave you, nor forsake you. (Heb. 13:5)

And you will see that ALL things work together for your good.

Because of Him and His promises. Not you and your obedience or failure.

He does it because of who He is, not because of who you are, or what you do.

Turn to Him and trust Him.

Winter is Gone

A springtime poem

The long cold winter is gone.
Blood of trees begin to flow.
Birds singing a mating song.
New plants begin to grow.

Wonderful warmth in the air,
with raging storms to begin.
All the animals are a pair,
Life’s cycle begins again.

Lakes and ponds warming in the sun.
Fish jumping, with splashes fall.
In flight, the dragonflies hum.
Spring Peepers in nightly call.

Nature knows what she must do.
Is it the same for me and you?

The God Who Answers

He is there and will answer. We live our lives in this world, where we seem to have no control. Where we look every where for answers. Everything seems hard and we have sorrow, working our selves to death. We seek answers from gods, idols and wisemen. We seek answers from deep within ourselves. We…

The Princes Of This World

Who really rules? Let’s talk about some conspiracy and spiritual truth for a moment. Because you must understand that there is only ONE conspiracy. And that’s the spiritual battle behind the scenes, that we all can see parts of, and have a feeling about, but cannot completely prove. The people who rule this world are…

Overcoming Anxiety And Fear

It is a demon. Cast it out. Jesus said, “Fear Not” (Matt. 10:31) He said it many times.  Actually, it’s a theme throughout scripture. Fear at its most basic level, is a lack of trust in God and His promises. That is a harsh saying, especially when we are dealing with anxiety. Because, often times…

He Is With Me

Do You Know Him?

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”— Heb. 13:5-6

When you turn to the Lord, He saves you and is with you always. His Holy Spirit is in you.

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”— 1 John 4:4

We do not need to be concerned with living to gather riches, or desiring to what others have or to be as they are. That is our flesh talking. That is demons whispering.

We can be happy with the things the Lord has provided us, because He is with us and will take care of us. There is nothing anyone can do to us. God will find a way. He will make a way where none exists.

God’s way is perfect, and He has perfect timing. Trust Him.

It’s not about looking good for mankind, with the silly notions of what is valuable.

The streets of Paradise are paved with gold. The true wealth are those things of the spirit. The people you lead to the Lord. The love you show. The people you help. The Kingdom you build, and the time spent with the Lord, learning of His ways.

The rest is chaff, useless waste, burned up in the fire.

God is with us. we have a relationship with Him and have no need to fear. Just “ask, and it shall be given unto you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.”— Matt. 7:7-11

James said “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

God is with us and will never forsake us. He will not help us destroy ourselves. But, we can trust that He hears and will help us with whatever we need.

I have seen God answer so many prayers. He has taken care of me. When I remember the great things He has done in the past it reminds me that He is with me and will take care of me again. It builds faith.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”— Phil.4:6-7

We thank God in our prayers because our faith leads us to believe He is with us and hears us and is moving. We trust His Word.

He is with me. We have a relationship.

And I am with Him.

I died with Him, and was buried to self, and the flesh, and this world. To be raised into new life with Him. Born again. (Rom. 6:4, John 3)

And I walk with Him in the Spirit, which is the relationship.

To hear on that last day, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”— Matt. 25

Destroying like demons from the pit.
All love has grown cold.

Until the day that Paradise comes,
and fills the broken Earth from above,
a return to Love.

Overcoming The Saints

The saints will be overcome. The scriptures are clear that the Anti-Christ will make war with the saints and overcome them. (Dan. 7:25, Rev. 13:7) I want to point out how this is likely to occur and how it is already started. I am not giving a prophecy here. I’m just pointing out some things.…

The Christian And Violence

What is the truth? I want to start with the ultimate truth, then talk about the current times, and prophecy. If you want to know God’s will on any subject you can probably find it in the Garden at Creation. There was no evil or death present. Nothing killed anything else. The humans and animals…

Fear Not

God is with us “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” –Luke 12:32 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”— 2 Tim. 1:7 “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is…

The Library Is Not Free

It’s just not

I recently came across a Facebook post talking about how libraries are free.

But, they are not free.

I’m not going to get into the fact that libraries are funded by taxes. So, we pay for them.

The focus of this has to do with the fact that a library requires you to have an ID, and an address. In order to get a library card.

Both of which costs money.

Both of which, you are required to have for virtually everything you need to be considered a real citizen.

Yes, a citizen. You can’t even vote without an address.

Now, understand that I am talking legally here. There are ways around things. I get it. But, we should not be required to lie and cheat in order to live.

So, let’s start with the ID, or Driver’s License.

You must show proof of who you are. They give you a list of documents they accept. Virtually all of which costs money to obtain.

For me, I usually provide Birth Certificate, and Social Security Card.

But, that’s not all you need. You also must prove your place of residency. That means you must have a piece of mail. And not just any mail, but some kind of bill. Because if you pay bills somewhere, it proves you live there. Apparently.

I have never figured out why your ID requires you to have an address. But, they do.

I assume it’s so the government can come and arrest you if they want. Which violates our right to be innocent till proven guilty. Our entire system is based upon holding everyone accountable for the crimes of a few. We have our rights stolen constantly because someone else broke a rule somewhere.

I was getting my driver’s license renewed, and getting the REAL ID, which requires even more information from your average free citizen. I was surprised there was no body cavity search.

Why did I get a REAL ID? Because they will not let you fly without one, and I have hopes and dreams of someday being able to be free to travel.

Anyway, I asked the folks behind the counter at the DMV, what would happen if I was homeless? They did not know. So, they asked the boss.

He said, “You’ll have to get an address from a shelter or a church, where you are staying or getting mail.”

And of course, if you move you have to get the address changed on your ID. It’s illegal not to.

So, basically we are no better off than registered sex offenders. They have to prove where they live and report when they move as well.

Ok, so let’s get back to the library.

After you get your ID, which you obviously have to pay for, and pay for some kind of address some where.

You can get your library card.

Then, like a sex offender you have to re-prove your ID and address every so often.

This is so that the Librarians can send out Task Force Delta, in order to kick down your door and retrieve that over due book, which you might be using as a coaster on your coffee table.

Which I understand. I totally refuse to loan out books. I keep my books in perfect condition, and hate how folks treat books.

I love the library. Librarians are great.

But, it is not free.

Unless all you do is go there and read books and magazines, while soaking up free AC or heat and free wifi. So, yes. In that sense it’s free.

Enjoy.

What Is Death?

It’s important to know. Death on its most basic level means separation. It is not an end, as some suppose. The Bible teaches that we are triune, like God. We are made in His image. We have a body, a soul and a spirit. When God created everything He created it good. Evil was contained…

Matthew 25 Church

Are we prepared for His return? Matthew Chapter 25 is a chapter in the New Testament that describes what will happen when Christ returns. It states that He will separate the sheep from the goats. It appears that this judgment is not the Great White Throne judgment, where the lost are judged. This judgment is…

Let Us Be Content

Always more. More, More, More.  “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”— Heb.…

Old Man Tree

Old man tree?

How long have you been around?

What sort of things have you seen?

You stand full of might,
with limbs still holding life.
Despite the age of some
and brokenness shone.

Your spirit is vast,
among the other trees alive.
You are planted alone,
but, speak to all around.

Sun and moon for years,
have grown you tall.
In the place your seed,
decided to fall.

A mirror image of you,
grows in Paradise beyond.
And in the poets verse,
And the mystic’s eye.

As If By Fire

We Are Being Sanctified “Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s…

Test The Spirits

You can know for sure. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that…

Eye Hath Not Seen.

We need the Holy Spirit “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”—1 Cor. 2:9 This verse in 1 Cor. is a quote from Isaiah, “For since the beginning of the world…
