Everyday can be a new life
Everyday is a new chance at a different life.
Every morning when we wake up we can choose how our day goes.
I know it’s hard. I battle those morning demons and have for years.
I have fought to think rightly in the face of a life that seemed stagnant and dead.
So, I’m not just blowing smoke.
I have waited for years for change to occur. I have done everything I can realistically do to make those changes occur and nothing has happened.
But that does not change the truth that each day is a new day.
Today it can change for the better.
And change does come. It has come for me. It will come for you.
Everything in this world was created by God, and all of it declares His truths. Everything teaches us of Him, and the life we can have in Him.
Every night we go to sleep, is a picture of our death. And every morning when we awake is a picture of our future resurrection.
It is also a picture of our dying to this world and our former lives, and being born again in Christ if we turn to Him.
It’s the same picture in baptism.
Every morning we arise again into new life.
Take a step back and see that God designed this world to teach us and grow us for something better. We are here for something more.
Step outside of yourself and see that new life happens every morning. Grab it and build a new.
Every morning you get a new life. Every morning you are resurrected into new life. Every morning is a picture of your new life in Christ.
Now use it. Ask God to guide you in it. Live it like it’s your last one.
Think about it. What would you do if you had another life to live? Now do it. Make wiser choices. Do the things you always wanted to do. Don’t give up. Figure out a way.
I know it’s hard. I fail too. But, the value exists in the failure. Because, in our failure we seek God, with a true heart. And He is where our strength truly lies.
Have faith that He hears. Stand on His promises. Keep speaking the faith. He is there with you. Trust Him.

On Father’s Day
Father’s are under attack It’s Fathers Day and probably the sermons you will hear today, and the things posted on social media, will be attacks on Father’s. Little jabs talking about how they need to do better, and are the leaders of the household or some other form of guilt and shame. And we wonder…
Not As The World Gives
God Doesn’t Do Like The World Does. Jesus said. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”—John 14:27 (John 14:1-31–in context) When God calls us, and we turn to Him, confessing Jesus…
Does God Feel Distant?
He is with you. Believe it. There are times in our lives when we feel that God has abandoned us. It seems that He doesn’t hear and we don’t feel His presence or see His movements in our lives. I have experienced the same. God has opened my eyes to the reality of it, and…
