Do We Really Have A Population Problem?

Or is it a land distribution problem?

I have grown up my entire life being told that the population would reach terrible levels and we would all starve.

It hasn’t happened yet. Much to my dismay.

I agree that there are too many people. I see it at Wal-Mart every Saturday. Or maybe that’s because all us peasants are only allowed the same day off.

I remember the days of COVID when people stayed at home and it seemed like we were living in a post apocalyptic dream. Less people and nature was healing.

But, do we really have a population problem?

Trust me, I am not advocating for more people. I’m not a big fan of people.

But, I like to solve problems and solving problems requires truth.

That being said, I once heard a person claim that the entire world’s population could live in an area the size of Texas.

This was years ago. I cannot tell you who said it first.

But, I decided to do the math (Which I hate) and see if it’s possible.

So check my figures.

I decided that we would create a mega city to put the world’s population in. I also decided that the population density needs to be tight, but not so tight that it has slum like conditions.

So, I picked the population density of Paris, France.

As of 2015 the population density of Paris was an average 21,289 per square kilometer

So that will be the population density of our mega city.

I would not build it in Texas, but that’s the size comparison we are using.

Texas is 678,054 square kilometers.

Now, in order to build the mega city we must exclude land we cannot build on, such as lakes. So ignore lakes and roads and rivers and parks etc. We are just making a simple calculation based upon area, population density and population.

The Earths current population is 8.2 billion people.

So, 8.2 billion divided by 21,289 =385,175.4427

That means that the entire earths 8.2 billion population, broken down into segments of 21,289 people per square kilometer can fit inside of the 678,054 square kilometers, of Texas.

As a matter of fact it looks like they could spread out a little bit.

Now of course there are things we do not take into account. Family sizes, living conditions, etc. This is just area and people. Let’s say we built high rise apartments for everyone.

The whole world would fit in an area the size of Texas more or less.

So, knowing this can help us see that we have a huge land distribution problem, not a population problem.

How much land is needed to feed 8.2 billion people?

We have an entire planet to put farms on.

We could create massive parks and national forests.

Actually we could probably divide the population into several mega-cities.

But, we’ve shown what the real problem is. It’s not population. It’s that some people own thousands of acres of land while others cannot even find a place to sleep at night.

When you break it down like this it’s easy to see what the real problems are. And population is not one of them.

The solution is a better design and fairness of where humans live, food is raised, and nature thrives.

Humans were created by God to protect and tend His creation. We are not supposed to be destroying it through greed. When God allowed manna to fall from heaven to feed the people He told them to only take exactly what they needed.

The greed of the rulers of this world, and the control of the demons behind the scenes has created a system where people suffer.

That suffering will be used by those same forces as an excuse to bring in solutions that will give rise to the Anti-Christ and the Beast system. Solutions that will control people and drive them from Christ.

My example of a solution is to show what the real problem is. Not population but greed, and power. It could be that humans are forced to live in mega cities in order to be more easily controlled.

I am not advocating that humans move to mega cities. I just reject the greed and the deception of the enemy, as they seek to guide the world into the Beast System. They use the Environment which they destroyed as an excuse for more power and control.

Satan cares nothing for God’s creation or human suffering.

Sin vs. Love

The Bible plainly shows in Matthew 25, what Christ will ask when He returns.

He doesn’t ask, “Did you watch porn?”

He doesn’t ask “Did you have sex before marriage, or did you have an abortion”

He doesn’t ask “Did you vote right, or did you go to church or did you obey leaders and pay what you owe?”

Nope.

He asks if you visited prisoners? Did you help the poor? Did you clothe the naked? Did you give a cool drink to the thirsty? Did you love your neighbor? Did you love at all? Did you show kindness and compassion? Did you reconcile people to God? Did you use your gifts to save souls, spread the Kingdom and help others?

I can hear you squirming in your seat dying to say…”yeah…but”

No.

Jesus died for our sins and rose for our justification. If you are saved then you are in Him and are dead to sins.  It is not held against you. Do the dead sin? No. Paul explains this in Romans.

That means that you have power over it. But, it also means that it is irrelevant to your eternity. You are washed. You are hid in Christ.  Our focus is serving God and growing the Kingdom. Not, in worrying about whether we look like good Christians, but by being good Christians through service. (Col. 3:1-3)

You confess your sins and God forgives you, and works to help you overcome. This is foot washing. God cleanses us of all sin when we confess Him as Lord. But, we get dirty as we walk in this world. Like Jesus said, we have no need but to wash our feet. We do this by confessing our sins to Him. Likewise, when we confess our sins to each other and pray for each other, we wash each others feet. As James said. (1 John 1:1-10, John 13: 4-15, James 5:16, Rom. 10:9-10)

We are saved, and washed and hid in Christ. Our sins are gone. They are washed away. We are white as snow.

But, the things we do can open doors to the enemy to destroy us and ruin our lives. We can let demonic forces have more access to our lives. Even though we are eternally saved and forgiven. Our life in this world can be miserable because we do not confess our sins and let God work in our lives. Those sins can grow until they destroy us, if we do not let God deal with them. They can become strongholds of demonic activity in our lives. Things that can impact those around us and generations down the road.

But remember, all things work together for our good. God can use that destruction or trouble to help us. God will use it to grow us. He is not trying to hurt us but give a hope and a future. We are saved. We are in Christ, if you know Him. He chastises those He loves. The destruction or rock bottom, works to wake us up and set us free. (Romans 8: 28, Jere 29:11, Heb. 12:6)

And we still are saved forever.

God deals with our sin so we can serve the Kingdom. Knowing God and serving Him is our purpose. That’s our focus. Not our life, but His.

We are being sanctified, and through the sanctification, we endure hardness as we serve. We endure temptation and overcome through the Holy Spirit and service to the Kingdom. (2 Tim. 2:3, James 1:12)

Our willingness to have a relationship with Christ and let the Holy Spirit, love through us is what we are called to do. (Eph 2:8-10)

Our service and our love is a reflection of our relationship with God.

When you read Matthew 25. It’s obvious that the people thought they were saved. But, they never knew the King, so they never did the compassionate loving things God desired. They never grew in faith as the Lord worked in them and on them. They never had a relationship with Him. They thought their works saved them, instead of being saved to do good works. They worried about sin, like pharisees, even though they were dead to sin. Satan will get us focused on quitting sinning and being moral, because that keeps us from getting people saved, or fighting the evil in this world. (Eph 2:8-10, Matt. 7:21-23)

They never knew Him.

It’s not about works. It’s about who you know and who you have a relationship with. And that relationship will get us to serve Him, as He sanctifies us.

Let God take care of your sins. Focus on serving and loving others. Focus on the relationship with God.

And you will find that those sins you worry about, get less and less. We grow. We build faith. We build our relationship with God. We overcome the sin that so easily besets us. By following the Holy Spirit and doing the service God calls us to do. Not by works, but by His power.

Love covers a multitude of sins. God is love, and He works to drive those things out of us through Love. As we love God, serving Him and having that relationship with Him, and serving others. Loving them. (1 Peter 4:7-8)

We find ourselves growing free, to match the spiritual truth that we are already free in Christ.

The Coming Global ID

The Last Days are moving along.

We are told that the Anti-Christ will create a Mark. This mark will be used to control all buying and selling in the world. (Rev. 13)

When this prophecy was given 2000 years ago, it was probably very hard to imagine how one man could control ALL buying and selling.

But, today with computers, barcodes, AI, the internet and global corporations, it is easy to see how it can happen.

Wal-Mart stores are every where. Amazon is global. Google is global.

Google recently demanded that I prove my ID by sending them a picture of my government issued ID in order to use their ad services. Amazon KDP did the same thing. They are complying with a law that forces online sites to know the people they work with. So these two giants require ID.

I did not comply.

How long till Amazon requires ID to purchase anything? How long till Google requires ID to use any of it’s services? I guess my bank account numbers are not enough.

On top of that there is the revived effort for REAL ID.

It is a law that was passed years ago but was put on hold till recently.

REAL ID will be required for all domestic flights in the US. But, make no mistake, it will expand. That is how these things work. The oppressors in government get their foot in the door with some excuse or something small, then all their buddies in business start requiring it for banking, and everything else.

You will probably need to have a REAL ID for everything. Just expect it.

They did the same thing with the Social Security number. They promised it was not for ID purposes when it first came out. The same with Drivers Licenses. It was originally only required for Commercial Drivers.

That is how it works. They use fear to get a law passed, then get a little more and a little more.

REAL ID requires you to prove everything, beyond a regular ID.

Of course, you can refuse. But, your life will become increasingly more difficult.

Look at what happened during COVID. They required a vaccination. They fired people from jobs who did not get it. Then, they started creating a vaccine pass, and all the businesses jumped on board to require proof of vaccines before entering their business or having a job.

These are all tests and preparation for what is coming.

There will eventually be a push for ID in virtually everything because of the fear of alleged crime. Often, it’s crime caused by previous government oppression or false flag operations.

That will be the excuse.

I imagine there will be a time when we are required to get some kind of electronic global ID marker which will prove who we are online and everywhere we go. It doesn’t even have to be tied to a government at all. It could be like a Paypal, sort of system. We just upload passports or ID’s, along with phone numbers, bank accounts, addresses, medical records, background searches, and any other vital records.

Then, we are given a code and an ID card by mail.

Then, without this card nothing will work. You cannot do anything online. All websites would require your code.

You cannot go to the store. All stores would require the code, because they cannot get electronic money from the bank without giving the customer code.

You can’t own a vehicle or a home without your trusty global ID, because the banks require it.

It’s just a simple step from where we are today.

It would be easy for employers to require a global electronic ID before they hire you. The excuses would be endless.

All this comes because those in power require that you prove who you are to them, so they can punish you if you violate some rule they invented.

That’s really all identification is for. Licenses are used to control people, because if you do not obey, they can strip your license without real due process. Without any Constitutional protections.

So, with electronic money and a global ID, anyone can just file a complaint and have you turned off. They have a similar thing in China.

It’s getting closer everyday. With more mergers and control shifting to where less and less entities control everything. Less and less. Day by day.

Till finally one person has the power to control all buying and selling. As the Bible teaches.

It’s all moving into place. All they need to do is get you to accept it, and then put the mark on your right hand or forehead.

Why?

Because scary thieves could steal your ID. So, in order to prevent those bad men from robbing you. It’s better to get the mark on your skin. It’s for safety sake.

At least that’s what they will tell you. (Who is they? Those in power and the brainwashed masses controlled by demons.)

You won’t be able to buy anything or do anything without it.

It’ll be so convenient.

You could get any kind of electronic tattoo on your right hand or forehead that you want. All of it will be linked to your global account.

You’ve got all kinds of tattoos any way. Why not another one?

You can show off your new design on social media. You’ll need it to get online anyway. You can even design your own, so long as the main code is intact.

That’s what is coming.

You will not be able to buy or sell anything. You probably won’t be able to have a job or a bank account of any kind.

It will be the Mark of the Beast from Hell.

Getting the Mark, will be the final rejection of God.

Forever.

The Apostles and 70 A.D.

What happened?

After Jesus ascended alive into heaven the Apostles were emboldened, because they had seen Jesus die and rise from the dead. They knew He is the Messiah. They knew they could trust Him and God’s Word. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and went forth in power.

They began the work of building a ministry and spreading the Gospel as the Holy Spirit led them.

We can read about it in the Acts of The Apostles.

While they spread the Gospel, Satan raised up persecution upon them. Efforts from the religious leaders and the Roman government to stop this growing faith.

But, the apostles continued on, being beaten and killed for the Gospel’s sake.

Like Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”— John 12:24-26

The persecution of the church pushed the apostles and other believers onward to spread the Gospel more. As the enemy tries to stop them, it just builds and grows. Because, they have seen the truth. They have the Holy Spirit. They are no longer lulled into the lie that the devil feeds those in this world.

God’s Word says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” —Psa. 116:15

Because our death is a witness to those who are lost, as they seek to destroy us and stop us from spreading the Gospel. Our death shows the lost that we trust God, and are convinced of His promises. Our death brings us home to Paradise where we will be forever with Him.

The Father loves to see His children come home.

Death is separation. The Saints never die, we are never separated from the Lord.

We see prophecies of the creation of the Church and the apostles through God’s Word.

First we see the creation of the woman, in Genesis. When God causes Adam to fall into a deep sleep and removed a rib from his side and made a bride for the Man.

Likewise, Jesus died on the cross and He was pierced in the side. Out came blood and water, for the creation of the church. The Bride of Christ, born of the Blood of the Lamb and the baptism in water.

Again, we see Elijah the prophet being taken up alive into heaven, and he leaves his mantle behind to Elisha, who takes up Elijah’s position and does greater things. (1 Kings 19:19, 2 Kings Chapter 2, John 14:12)

Many use this verse of Elijah going alive into heaven as a verse to prove their doctrine of Rapture. But, it is really showing the Lord’s ascension and the Apostles being given His authority and power.

Again, The Apostles felt led to raise up a new Apostle in order to replace Judas.

They wanted to follow the prophecy in God’s Word.

“For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.”—Acts 1:20

The Apostles cast lots and chose Matthias, to fill the position. But, then we hear nothing else from Matthias.

Why?

Because God fulfilled His own prophecy and chose Saul, who became Paul the Apostle as the successor for Judas Iscariot.

As the Apostles and other Saints followed the Holy Spirit the Gospel spread and the Church grew throughout the world.

But, the prophecy of Jesus was growing as time went on.

The Lord had prophesied over the city,

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (Matt. 23:37-39)

“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”— (Matt. 24:1-2)

This prophecy from our Lord before His death, tells us the fate of Jerusalem because of their choice to kill Jesus, while choosing Barabbas, the insurrectionist and murderer. The picture of Satan. The Anti-Christ.

In 70 A.D. The Roman General Titus, who would become Emperor, attacked and destroyed Jerusalem. He destroyed the second temple and plowed the city under. Just as Jesus had prophesied.

The city where He was killed. The city that refused to turn back to the Lord, was destroyed. The city who chose the devil, and probably it was this Barabbas who helped stir up the insurrections which eventually led to the destruction of the city.

Which caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to be sent to wander the Earth in what is called the Diaspora.

But, that was not the first prophecy of this event.

Notice how Jesus referred to Himself as “The Son Of Man”

Who is “Man”?

Man is Adam.

Jesus is referring to the story of Cain and Able.

He is calling Himself “Able”.

Able is a picture of Jesus.

Killed by his brethren for envy.

Then, the brother is sent to wander the Earth.

Like Cain.

Who eventually built a city of trade and learning.

Before the days of the Flood, creating a global empire.

And even today it is being built.

To prepare the world for the Anti-Christ to come, following the spirit of antichrist.

While the Apostles and saints follow the Holy Spirit to build God’s Kingdom.

It all moves quickly toward the last days, and the return of our Lord from the sky, in glory.

The battle has raged from the beginning till now, and will end soon.

The Road To Emmaus

Our hearts burned within us

After Jesus rose from the dead, He spent 40 days on the Earth before He ascended to heaven. (Acts 1)

During that time he was seen by many people. Proving that He was alive.

He appeared to the disciples several times. Helping them to understand what had happened and building their faith for the work they needed to do. (John chapter 20 and 21, Matt. 28, Mark 16,)

One of those times was when 2 disciples were walking on the road to the village of Emmaus, and a man joined them as they walked. (Luke 24)

It was Jesus.

At first they did not recognize Him. On several occasions he was not recognized by appearance but was known. A possible explanation could be that the beating He took from the Romans might have swollen or bruised his face. The other possibility is that his resurrected body was so healed and perfect that he no longer showed signs of age or any physical blemishes. He might have looked years younger.

But often when he spoke or they saw him perform some act, He became obvious to them. Like when you meet someone you have not seen in years, but when they smile or say your name, you see them for who they are.

So, Jesus walked with them and listened to them recount the activities of the last few days. The crucifixion and resurrection.

They still doubted and had fear.

But, Jesus spoke to them.

“O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?” — Luke 24:25-26

Then, beginning at the writings of Moses, which is Genesis through Deuteronomy, and all the prophets, Jesus explained to them where He appeared in the scriptures. All the allegorical pictures of Him. The allusions to the coming Messiah and the prophecies of Him.

Jesus is the central point of the Bible. Virtually everything is a picture of Him.

From the point where God says, “Let there be Light” in Genesis, we know that Jesus is the Light of the World. To where God created the woman, and it is the story of the crucifixion.

God caused Adam to go into a deep sleep (Death)

And out of his side He took a rib and fashioned a Woman to be Adam’s Bride.

Likewise, after Jesus died a Roman soldier pierced His side with a spear and out flowed blood and water.

And the Church, who is the Bride of Christ, is created by the Blood of the Lamb, and the water of baptism.

It’s the same story.

We see in Genesis Chapter 3 where God makes reference to The Serpent’s head being crushed by the seed of the woman. A reference to Christ’s victory over Satan.

We can move forward to Noah, who was righteous because he believed the Word, God gave Him. He built an Ark to save as many as would believe. Just like Jesus saves us from the coming wrath if we put our faith in Him and get on board.

We see the story of the Exodus where the blood of the Lamb was painted on the door posts in order to save everyone in the house.

We see the law of Moses where the sacrifices and sanctuaries are pictures of the coming great sacrifice of Jesus, and that we are clean and hid in Him.

We can go on and on showing the hidden references to Christ throughout God’s Word.

And they were hidden in order to keep God’s plan a secret from Satan and His angels, until the day Jesus was killed and set us free.

They were mysteries from the foundation of the world, for the same reason that He spoke to them in Parables.

“He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”—Matt. 13:11-15

God has set a method for salvation.

Hear His call and turn to Him. Believing Him and confessing Him as Lord. Asking Him to save you in Jesus name. (Romans 10:9-10, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:21)

And the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to you and grow you in Christ. Working to build your faith.

Jesus is the Door.

If anyone tries another way they are a robber and a thief. (John 10)

If Satan has deceived them with a works based doctrine, they do not really know the Lord. They have never confessed Him as Lord. They have never received grace, because they are trying to save themselves. (1 Cor. 12:3, Rom 11:6)

They are like the demons who know there is a God, but they reject Him. They do not confess Him as Lord. They are in rebellion and have never submitted to the Lord, and received grace. Those same demons work to keep us in rebellion as well. (James 2:19)

That is why the Gospel was hid and remains a difficult thing.

In order to prevent Satan and his minions in the war, and to get humans saved the proper way.

But, it is not difficult. It is the easiest thing in the world. Simply submit to the Lord. Turn to Him and confess Him as your Lord. He will do the rest.

They Chose The Devil

God came to Earth, in the form of Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life, because we cannot.

He came to set us free from the bondage of Sin and Satan.

The devil found out the plan; hidden since the dawn of time. He and his demonic hordes worked to oppose God’s design. They would not let humans go. The Fallen Angels rule the Earth. Satan is the god of this world. (2 Cor. 4:4)

They used their human slaves to harass, and falsely accuse Jesus in order to murder Him.

The religious leaders listened to the demons whispering into their minds. They did not know God. They did not want to lose their positions of power to this Jesus person. They were full of fear, jealousy and envy. (Matt. 27:18)

So, they secretly arrested Jesus by night and held a trial, out of the eyes of the people. Like all those who serve Satan, they work in secret. In small committees out of the questioning eyes of others.

The demon princes of this world worked to get them to convict Jesus and deliver the Lord to the Roman government for execution.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren. He uses the governmental powers he controls to destroy the saints, in order to keep God’s truth from spreading. He did it in Jesus day, He does it around the world today, and he will do it when he is cast down to Earth and infills the Anti-Christ. (Revelation 12:10, Rev. 12, Rev. 13)

The religious leaders delivered Jesus to Pilate, the Roman governor at the time.

The religious leaders knew that Pilate would release a prisoner unto them. It was a strange custom, done during the feast. (Matt. 27, Mark 15, Luke 23)

The religious leaders, hearing the whisperings of the demons worked to get the people to reject Jesus and get Barabbas released unto them.

Barabbas, a man who was accused of sedition and murder. Like Satan, a rebel and a murderer from the beginning. (Luke 23, John 8:44)

The people shouted, led by the religious leaders to crucify Jesus, and release unto them Barabbas the murderer.

They said to let the blood of Jesus be upon them and upon their children, cursing themselves in his death. (Matt. 27:25)

And Barabbas who is a picture of Satan was released unto the people, as they rejected the King of Glory. It is even said by scholars that Barabbas’s first name was Jesus. This shows a clear picture of Satan offering a replacement Christ, or Anti-Christ.

And they took Jesus to Calvary, also called Golgotha. A place outside the city walls, near where the trash was thrown. Near the dump, which is the picture of hell. Where the lepers lived and the dogs dwelt. Where the fires are not quenched and the worms (maggots) never die. (John 19)

There they crucified Him between two thieves.

The thief crucified next to Jesus saw the truth. He heard the call of God in his heart. He witnessed to the other thief, and he confessed Jesus as Lord. He asked Jesus to remember him.

And Jesus said, “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

And at that instant that thief was saved, and would be with the Lord forever in Paradise.

He was finally free.

And Jesus died bearing the weight of the sins of the world. The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The sacrificial Lamb bleeding for anyone who asks to be saved; calling on the name of Jesus. ( Rev. 13: 8, Eph 1:4, Acts 2:21)

And the demons cheered. And Satan thought he had won.

Till he realized that the death of Jesus set humans free if they asked, and was the beginning of the end for the demonic hordes, who rule the earth.

And today, we have a choice to make. Do we choose the devil? Or do we listen to God’s call and choose Jesus? Do we demand His blood? Or do we receive His sacrifice for us? There is no middle ground. We are with the Lord, or with the devil. It is war.

But, the end is not yet, for there will come a future time quickly approaching where we will be given a choice to choose the Devil or the Lord. A time when a man rises up and the whole world runs after him. A man who will be the picture of Satan, a usurper ruling the World. The “instead of” Christ. The Anti-Christ.

He will make war with the saints and over come them. And many will fall way. Those who never really knew the Lord. They will deny Him and help beat the servants of the Lord. They will turn back to the world, because they never really knew Jesus. Remember Lot’s wife. (2 Thess. 2:3, Luke 12:45, 2 Peter 2:1, Luke 17, Rev. 6, Rev. 12, Rev. 13)

But the Lord will come from heaven with a shout and the trump of God, and all the saints will come with Him. ( 1Thess. 4:16-17)

And we will meet Him in the clouds and forever be with Him.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Transformed!

God works in our lives to change us.

We often forget that it is God who calls us to Himself.

We were created good by God. We are flesh covered spiritual beings created to last forever. But, we are fallen. There is something wrong with us. Our minds, souls and spirits became corrupt. We fell in the Garden and Satan took over.

 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.”

No one seeks God. Therefore, if you are having thoughts of God. If you are feeling led to go to church or learn of spiritual things. If a sermon or the Gospel message of Christ is speaking to your heart. If you are reading this…

That is God calling you.

No one comes to Jesus to be saved unless God calls them. (John 6:44)

This is part of His Grace and part of why He saves us, not by our own efforts, but by His.

When we hear this call we turn to the Lord and ask Him to save us. That is what repentance is. It means “to turn”

Since God is the only way to be saved we obviously turn to Him. Then, He washes us in the blood of Jesus and cleanses us of all sin. We do not need to understand it. We just turn to Him and ask.

We confess Jesus is the Lord and make Him our Lord, believing He rose from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10)

Then the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us and work in our lives to help transform us and help us to serve God in building the Kingdom. (John 14:26)

When we first get saved, there are things God will remove from our lives. People will notice we are different. When we give ourselves to Jesus we are free from sin and the the things that hold us down. He has taken all of it upon His shoulders, and when we believe this, we are changed. We are transformed. We are a new creature.

This is believing God’s Word.

God’s Word tells us that He will save us and change us. It tells us He will take our sin and cast them away from us and wash us. When we believe this, we put our faith in Him and it works to change us.

We are saved by grace through faith not by works lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9)

God calls us. We hear His word, and believe Him. Then, we turn to Him to be saved.

God Himself came to Earth to die for us, to set us free from Sin and Satan, who took dominion when Adam fell. We are slaves to the enemy and the power of our own flesh. Our spirits are dead and our souls are trapped as we go through life being led by Satan and our worldly ways.

But, when we hear God call and turn to Him for salvation we are set free and we begin to transform.

The Holy Spirit comes into us and begins to change us and teach us. We study God’s Word and learn of His promises and His ways.

When we have thoughts that are contrary to God’s Word, the Holy Spirit reveals it to us and we take those thoughts captive and tell Satan to be gone in Jesus name, then we choose to believe and follow God’s Word instead. This is the battle between the flesh and spirit. As we wage this battle we are transformed over time. (2 Cor. 10:5, Gal.5:17)

This is not salvation. We are already saved; if we confessed Him as Lord. But, we can prove our salvation to ourselves by the fact that we struggle with the enemy. Unsaved people do not struggle. This struggle is our sanctification. It is God working on us through His Holy Spirit to help change us and to help us in our lives.

We confess our sins and thoughts to the Lord, and He forgives us and starts working to transform us. (1John 1:8-10)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”—Rom. 12:1-2

When we read this we might think that we are condemned because we fail and cannot do it. We might think we are such utter failures, and the preacher keeps beating us.

That is the Holy Spirit speaking to you. It is conviction.

The answer is to turn to God, and confess it to Him. Pray to Him about it and let Him get to work. Our salvation and sanctification is God’s work, not ours.

The fact that you desire to change and feel convicted is proof of your salvation. The Holy Spirit in you is calling you to work with God in your sanctification. This is the relationship we have.

We see changes in our lives and in our spirit, as we are renewed in our minds. Our spirit is alive in Him and we are transformed.

We are not perfect. We sin. We fail. But, we are perfect in Him. He holds our salvation in His hand.

When we think wicked thoughts of hate or revenge or fear or doubt or pride, we capture them and rebuke them in Jesus name. Because thoughts work to become actions. The more we do this the stronger we become.

We quote the Word out loud to ourselves, and it builds our faith and drives the demon out.

Because that is what is behind those thoughts. Demons whispering through the hedge of protection trying to get us to open the door. If we fail and listen to those thoughts. If we follow through with sin, we start working to open the door a little at a time. Eventually, the demons can come into our mind and life as often as they want. We have fallen back into bondage. But, through the Lord we can stand up and resist. We can shake them off. We confess it to Him and let Him cleanse us and work to change us.

We can struggle with these things in our flesh but it does nothing to our spirit until God Himself does it. This is why obeying rules does nothing spiritual. This is why no one is saved by the works of God’s Law.

It must be God making the changes and transforming us. Flesh cannot transform spirit. Only spirit can do that. God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The truth is Jesus Christ. The truth is God’s Word, and Jesus is the living Word. (John 1, John 4:24)

We are transformed when we are saved. Then, we live lives of transformation as we continually turn to Him and abide in Him.

Going to church and obeying rules won’t do it.

It’s a relationship with Him.

It’s a spiritual battle with the enemy who attacks our mind, and life.

No matter what. Always turn to God. Do not let the enemy get you to think that you can’t trust God. Or you failed too much. Or that God is out to get you. Take those thoughts captive and say “begone Satan in Jesus name, God will never leave me nor forsake me. He is my helper.”

Draw closer to God. Praise Him. Read His Word and let the Holy Spirit teach you.

And watch Him transform you.

Created Equal

It’s a fact

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.“— (Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson)

This is one of the founding statements of the United States. It is foundational in the concepts of liberty. It is also a spiritual truth.

The idea of equality has been argued about. It’s obvious to anyone who has lived in this world long enough to understand anything that we are absolutely not equal.

Our rights are trampled upon. There are people who totally deny the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There are even people who deny the idea of a creator.

And that is why this preamble to the Declaration is a radical statement. It is spiritual in nature. It is not of the flesh.

We are created by God as equals. This is a spiritual fact. God is not a respecter of persons. He does not look at us based upon any bias, where one is higher than another. He doesn’t care about your money or your earthly status. No one is better than anyone else. We are all sinners. We are all fallen. We are all loved by God because He is love, and seeks to save us.

The American founders did not view the King or Royals or anyone, as superior simply by birth alone.

We lose sight of this equality by living in this world, which seeks to break us and make us subservient to others who think they are better than us.

Spiritual truths are things that are facts. They are things that God has established which we can stand on in the face of opposition. It doesn’t matter who agrees or what arguments are made. Spiritual truth is spiritual truth.

We are equal. We have the right to live. We have the right to be free. We have the right to pursue the things that make us happy.

Why?

Because God allows it. He states these things in His Word.

He condemns murder and the cruel treatment of others. He commands love. He came to set us free. He supports us in our efforts to live a life free of evil, which leads to true happiness.

But, you must stand on these truths. You must demand “I am equal! I have a right to live! I am free! I will pursue happiness!”

You must demand it because this world will beat you down. The so called leaders. The bosses. The people in positions of power and a million folks who think they are better than you, will work to keep you in your place.

I’m not telling you to be rude or unkind. But, to stop letting the enemy use people to beat you down.

When we realize these are spiritual truths we must also realize that there is a God who created us and these things. He is for us. He is on our side. He came and died for us to set us free and rose for our justification.

He wants us to know Him and have a relationship with Him. He wants us to see that He is good, and seeks to renew our minds, souls and spirits from the corruption of this world and the things we have done in it. From the circumstances of our birth and the impact of the enemy.

Equality is not something to impose. That destroys freedom and rights. But, it’s something that we should embrace and let play out in our lives and our attitudes toward others. It is love. Can you impose love?

Imposing equality or equity, destroys freedom. We are equal in God’s eyes. It’s a fact. It is not based upon our possessions. It is based upon how we treat each other.

Imposing equality or equity, works to hold back success. It should be done through love. We joyfully and willingly help others and lift them up, because we know we have a creator who has died to lift us up and save us.

Our equality is a fact in Him.

Overcome Evil With Good

Attacking evil with evil, just makes more evil

All of us have had things happen in our lives that we would define as evil.

We could make a list of the things that are evil, and it would not cover everyone or everything. You know when evil happens to you, whether anyone else agrees that it’s evil or not.

So, what do we do about the evil that happens to us? Do we get revenge? Or is success after the fact the best revenge?

We might want violence, or revenge or some other thing, but are we just creating more evil? Are we causing collateral damage to innocent people in our effort to get revenge?

Do we really care?

And that’s the question. What does the doing of evil, do to us on a spiritual level?

Does doing something evil, whether justified or not cause us damage we do not see? Does it open doors to things we do not want in our lives?

When we hurt people, are we setting ourselves up for more hurt later?

Will we reap what we sow?

The scriptures say, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Rom. 12:21)

When evil happens to us we can let it consume and destroy us. Let’s say our loved one divorces us, or our employer fires us for no reason.

We immediately come under attack and we are tempted to return evil for evil. We are tempted to fall into deep depression and to go out and and do things that really just hurt ourselves because that will show them.

We want to punish them, by getting ourselves into bad situations. This opens more and more doors into our lives for more trouble to come.

But, when evil comes, whether it’s an illness or poverty. A divorce or loss of job. Whether it’s an attack or accident, or the death of a loved one or some other devastation or trauma.

We stop. We turn to God, and seek Him.

Because this attack in our lives can very easily lead us down a wrong path. The devil will get you to do everything under the sun, except what you should do. You’ve seen it happen to others.

So stop. Do not return evil for evil. That is the battle. Forgive and love. That’s the battle.

Give it to God and watch Him work. Let Him guide you. let Him bring you through.

Not returning evil for evil is the first step.

Then, start overcoming evil with good.

Warn people. Help those who are also suffering. Use the things God showed you in your struggle.

Going through a divorce? Use the things God showed you to help others struggling.

Lost a job? Help others who have suffered loss. Remember what it was like to be broke and worried.

Did you over come cancer or trauma? Get involved. Help others.

Did you rise up and succeed from a tough past? Help others to overcome.

Our lives are like candles which only burn for an instant. Use your light to help others see the way and avoid the same pitfalls, you climbed out of.
